I am so very thankful for our new church. Last Sunday, my oldest daughter was still in the shower at 10:35a and we were still able to make it to church on time at 11a. I am very thankful for the high school group for the boy and that there are some long time buddies who also attend this church. I am thankful for how ODD has jumped into the junior high group. I am thankful that the 4th & 5th girls are separate from the boys which helps YDD. The boy attends church less grudgingly [which is huge] and the girls love it; thank you, God, for that amazing blessing. I am thankful for the Beth Moore Bible study I am newly a part of; I've been wanting to do one of her studies for a long time and having the new church offer it is a blessing.
I am thankful my daughters love homeschooling and do not want to go back to public school. As I was taking ODD to her babysitting job this morning, she told me she hates public school because "you don't learn anything, you have to get up really freaking early and you have to socialize with stupid people". WHile I'm not real hip with the use of stupid, I do understand her sentiment. Homeschool takes dedication and effort; I am thankful my girls are thankful for the chance to homeschool. Makes all my work worth it.
